It works thanks to a special liquid crystal film that is powered by a small solar cell and controlled by the electronics.

What does this all mean? Let´s say you´re riding your bike and it´s a beautiful sunny day, the Bot understands that the luminosity is high and adjusts its tint accordingly.

Even a pair of normal sunglasses would work well in this situation.

Then, you suddenly pass through a tunnel, now a normal lens will keep on staying dark so for a while you won´t see a thing, but the Bot understands that the luminosity has changed, and immediately gets lighter, allowing you to see well without any hassle right from the first meters.

Plus, it doesn´t have a limited number of tints, but it covers the whole range allowing you to always have the perfect light filter.

The colors E-green, E-Silver and E-Blue cover from 18% to 45% of vlt, while the E-Clear covers from 15.9% to 47.8% of vlt.
